What type of venue is Niakwa Country Club?

Niakwa is a Private Country Club with a formal Banquet hall, restaurant, and private event rooms. 

What is the minimum/maximum capacity? 

We have 3 event rooms to choose from depending on the size of your group. Our Hazelton room holds up to 20 guests, our Fine Dining room holds up to 40 guests, and our Formal Ballroom holds up to 200 guests. View our rooms 

Do I need to be a member to host an event?

No, our facilities and services are open to the public. 

What event services does Niakwa offer?

We offer various event services such as linen/décor rentals, full bar and catering services, event planning, outdoor wedding ceremony space, Audio/Visual.

What wedding events does Niakwa service?

We host ceremonies and receptions, engagement parties, bridal showers, tastings, and rehearsal dinners. 

What catering services does Niakwa offer?

We have breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet options, 3 or 4 course plated dinners, cocktail receptions with hors d’oeuvres, dessert displays, a variety and food stations, servers, and tastings. 

What bar services does Niakwa provide? 

Bar services include a cash bar, where Niakwa provides liquor, wine, and beer and guests pay on consumption. Host bar, where Niakwa provides liquor, wine, and beer to guests and creates a host tab. Or a permit bar, where the event host can provide liquor, wine, and beer with a LCGA liquor permit. All bar services include bartending staff, glassware, drink mix and garnish. Event hosts are welcome to create signature cocktails to be served. 

What is included when hosting and event?

Niakwa provides tables and seating for all guests, glassware, flat ware, basic table linens, and serving/bartending staff.

Does Niakwa require a deposit?

We require a deposit paid in advance to secure the room and date. The deposit amount is deducted from the overall food and beverage cost of the event. The deposit for our Formal Ballroom is $1000, our Fine Dining room is $500, and our Hazelton room is $250. All deposits are non-refundable and will be forfeited if the event is cancelled.  

Does Niakwa allow outside catering?

All catering and bar services must be provided through Niakwa. 

Does the club provide music services?

We have preferred pricing through Crystal Sound DJ Services. Music services can be provided for any event, and include set up/take down, lighting, and is available for both wedding ceremonies and receptions. 

Does the club provide any set up or decoration services?

We have preferred pricing with a variety of different linen and décor companies that we would love to recommend. Niakwa will assist with all set up and take down of décor.

Does the club offer a wedding ceremony space?

Yes, we have a fully landscaped outdoor ceremony space as well as indoor options depending on the time of year. Our ceremony package includes set up and take down of ceremony chairs. 

Does hosting an event give me access to the golf course?

Unfortunately, the golf course is only open to members.  

Is the golf course accessible for wedding pictures?

Only a limited area of the golf course is available for pictures.
